Hope & pray everyone is maja ma and sleeping moza (socks) ma since it’s starting to get cold here 😉 I believe you guys fancy the navratri fervor as much as I do and I can’t wait to rock to the traditional tunes on the floor. Navratri brings a kind of positive energy in me. I am a crazy fan who is unwilling to step out until they’re done with the closing ceremony for the day. Well, that means I dance for about 4-5 hours, non-stop and by the last day I’ve also lost some ounces of my weight – win-win :D. It is indeed a wonderful form of work out where you don’t feel tired or bored and enjoy all the way while burning that flab. But, this ain’t as easy as it looks, since this is a time when are with your friends and family & all the mid-night snacking is bound to happen and as a result, you might actually put on some kilos because of certain wrong habits. The key is to keep it simple and balanced. You are about to go against the biological clock by sleeping late, changing your routine and meal timings for some days, etc., so better be prepared and have a plan.
Now that you are all set for the occasion, let’s get to our second outfit: This is a saree lehenga, where in, the lehenga is a straight cut with a slit on one-side for comfort in walking. The dupatta is made with a combination of fabrics like georgette, cotton with kutch work embroidery and chiffon, I have draped it like a saree with the pallu neatly pleated on one shoulder and paired it with a beautifully crafted hand-embroidered kutch work full-sleeves blouse. This particular outfit is an assortment of colors used perfectly making it look bewitching.
The cynosure of this look is my fluorescent orange matt shade lipstick which grabbed many eyeballs and I was blushing with compliments. Since the outfit was bright enough I chose to go subtle on the accessories by wearing a metallic choker and hangings. Oh and do have a look at my friend’s outfit as well, I liked it as it is really peppy and hassle-free. She’s wearing black harem pants along with a plain black top, she has smartly accessorised it with a lovely hand-work shrug, heavy oxidized necklace & earrings and a stunning belt at the waist. Chic, isn’t it?
That’s all for this look, I shall come back soon with the next one!
