There’s a special place in my heart for South Indian Fashion, being a Gujarati I don’t really fancy the regular sarees and what really interests me are the silks and Kanchi pattus that are famous in South India. So this time I thought of Styling Kanjeevarams from Mandir, a brand known for it’s quality and service.
Traditional colors of India:
Green are red, two colors that you would find in every Indian Woman’s Trousseau. For some, these might be bright or flashy but for me, I would wear them loud and proud for any Indian occasion or festival. As you can see the impact of Green and Crimson gold has to the eye, all I can is it’s such a beautiful combination. The depth of the colors is mesmerizing, the feel and comfort of this Saree is beyond words and trust me guys, just when I was wearing this Saree there were number of women curious to find out from where I’d bought it. There’s a unique charm to this silk which brings out the best in any woman who chooses to wear it.
Coming to the Jewelry which I picked from PMJ Jewels, the majestic Rani Haar is to die for! Layers of real Diamond florets arranged symmetrically and adorned with bright and sparkling Emeralds in each layer speaks for the kind of karigari PMJ gives us to experience. The pyramid Diamond earrings are nothing short of royalty and complement with the Necklace and Bracelet to give your Queen-sly feel.
Kanjeevaram can be fun with Pink and Blue
It’s hard to say which one of these two Sarees in my Favorite because both are really different and enchanting in their own ways. If the previous had depth in colors then this one is really vibrant and charming. This one is more on the modern side of designing when you look closely at the checkered pattern and beautiful motifs. The blouse is a contrast one which again adds to the beauty of it. If you aren’t quite aware of this silk then here’s something you need to know:
The story of the Kanjeevaram silk saree begins in Hindu mythology. Legend has it that the Kanchi silk weavers are descendants of Sage Markanda, who was considered to be the master weaver for the Gods themselves.
This saree from Mandir makes it’s way from a small town -Kanchipuram (Tamil Nadu), the famous Kanjeevaram saree weave goes back 400 years.

Adorning my neck is this real Diamond neck lace again from Pmj Jewels . It’s a perfect match for this saree with those bewitching Sapphire stones. the earrings that hang beautiful on my earlobes, stand out brilliantly whether you chose to wear them with the necklace or not. Also, that pretty bracelet can be a part of your treasured collection because its antique karigari makes it a pretty accessory no matter you pick up an Indian outfit or western.
