With just a few days left for the Navratri fever to set in, we have limited time to shop and finalize our outfits. So I thought this could be of some help to you!
This is a skirt with lot of pleats in the middle which gives it a good flair, You could buy a frilly skirt and pair with a multicolored blouse like mine along with a lovely dupatta and rock it like a boss! The blouse looks like an Ikat print but is actually a digital print fabric and looks bright and vibrant and will gel well with any basic skirt, lehenga or even jeans because of it’s color combinations OR you can also pair your skirt with a black spaghetti along with an embroidery shrug and look absolutely chic. I teamed it up with my Lita boots to pep up the glam quotient and carried an envelope purse which matched my outfit. You could also wear a traditional or contemporary waistbelt or the kamarband and look edgy. I’m wearing a multicolored beaded necklace which matches perfectly with my blouse and looks enthralling along with simple earrings. That necklace is a must-have piece coz it will add some more glam quotient to any basic look and can be your savior on days you don’t know what to wear. For eg: If you decide to go to a party in the last moment you can wear any basic top with a skirt or jeans and just by wearing this beaded neckpiece you can jazz up your look. To get the proper kathiawari to look you could also don those black dots on your chin or outer corner of your eyes with kohl, liner or even bindis as per your convenience. Also, for this Navratri If you have been thinking about some nail-art, this is the right time! Go in for bright and vibrant colors and flaunt them in perfection.
There is also my quote in the Hyderabad Times about this particular outfit and gamthi trends on the rise. You can read the entire article here: http://epaperbeta.timesofindia.com/Article.aspx?eid=31809&articlexml=CLASSIC-GAMTHI-IS-A-FAVOURITE-AMONG-CITY-FOLKS-21092016103005
Stay tuned for the next look of the Navratri series.
Love.
