Hello Loves!
As much as I love experimenting with bold looks and bright hues, I am also fond of subtle shades like peach, beige and the color which rules the current season is Pistachio! I like it because of it’s elusiveness. There’s a thin line which discriminates this color from other shades of green and makes it really unique. I don’t get to see it quite often, but the one’s who carry it in their collections, surely have a great taste! Furthermore, this color can never EVER go wrong. Be it casual or formal, party wear or ethnic wear this is one of the greens which rule the world.
To bring out the best of a Pistachio green shade, this lovely sari from SIRIMIRI’17 Fall/Winter made in linen is the just the perfect one! I couldn’t get my eyes off this beautiful sari the moment I saw it. It has a magnetic charm and looks really sober and classy. While the sari is plain with striking borders, the magnificent blouse perfectly complements it. It’s a full sleeve blouse with front gold finish zip which is totally in vogue. With heavy embroidery on the back and sleeves in combination of gold and green, this beautiful blouse in off white is sure to grab eye balls.
Hemanth Siree designed this beautiful Sari inspired by the mood of a season at Fall/Winter. The Indo-Western blouse has been created using fish poetry block giving it a heavy embroidery keeping in mind the plain linen sari with simple borders. She wanted to showcase a very crisp look going against the notion of an “Indian traditional’ saree and hence we draped it in a different way without any pleats in the front. It’s been such a pleasure working with Hemanth Siree, I’m surely gonna shop from her for my sartorial needs be it formal or ethnic!
Accessories:
When it comes to accessories, Sparks & Sizzles is the first to pop up on my mind. I am in love with those sparkling danglers with emerald droplets and they’re a perfect match for the sari. Since the blouse is a high-neck, I didn’t wear any necklace and skipped out on bracelets/bangles too and hence took the liberty to wear this pretty nose pin. I just loved the coin belt which I wore around my waist for extended elegance. I wore this really edgy finger ring from Sparks & Sizzles with a stone in the middle which added to the charm.
